Legally Binding Introduction

By using the Book Layers platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”), you expressly, irrevocably, and unconditionally acknowledge and agree to all the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. This Agreement constitutes a legally binding electronic contract between the Platform and the member (user). If you do not agree to any provision of these terms, you must immediately stop using the Platform.

First: Nature and Purpose of the Platform

Book Layers is a creative literary platform primarily aimed at enriching literary content, promoting cultural awareness, and encouraging writers and readers to engage creatively. The Platform is not an investment, profit-generating, or commercial platform. Any amounts or rewards granted to members are considered “encouragement grants” and symbolic incentives intended solely to motivate creative activity, and they do not constitute a “debt” or a “financial entitlement legally payable” under commercial legal concepts.

Second: Rewards and Balance Policy (Absolute Administrative Right)

The Platform reserves the full and absolute right, without providing reasons, to modify, increase, decrease, or completely cancel any balances or rewards appearing in a member’s account.

As a member, you acknowledge that these balances are merely estimated figures within the Platform’s software system, and the Platform reserves the right to update pricing policies or grant conditions at any time as deemed appropriate to serve the literary goals of the project.

The member is not entitled to claim any material or moral compensation if the Platform’s financial policy changes or if a technical malfunction results in the loss of balance data.

Third: Anti-Manipulation and Fraud Prevention (Strict Enforcement Policy)

The Platform uses artificial intelligence systems and advanced software to track user behavior (Reading Activity Tracking). If the Platform administration determines with certainty, or even upon “reasonable suspicion,” that any form of manipulation has occurred, including but not limited to:

• Using automation software (Bots) or scripts to simulate reading. • Creating multiple accounts for the same individual (Multi-accounting) to obtain duplicate rewards. • Manipulating session timers or circumventing the activity tracking system. • Any activity intended to obtain “rewards” without genuine and active reading of content.

The Platform shall have the immediate right to take the following actions without prior notice:

• Permanent and complete deletion of the member’s account and all associated data. • Confiscation and cancellation of all balances and rewards in the wallet, whether resulting from legitimate or illegitimate activity. • Banning the individual (IP Block & Identity Ban) from registering on the Platform in the future.

Fourth: Waiver of the Right to Legal Action

By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge your voluntary and complete waiver of the right to file any lawsuits, legal complaints, or compensation claims against Book Layers, its owners, or its developers regarding balances and rewards. You agree that the Platform administration’s decisions concerning “account deletion” or “balance modification” are final and not subject to appeal before any judicial or administrative authority, due to the Platform’s promotional and non-profit nature.

Fifth: Legal Liability and Platform Protection

Any attempt to manipulate the Platform’s resources or software systems may expose the offender to legal prosecution on charges of “cybercrime” and “attempted informational fraud and deception.” The Platform’s purpose is to spread awareness, and any attempt to turn it into a means of fraud or manipulation will be confronted with full legal firmness and action.

Sixth: Amendments to the Agreement

The Platform reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes implicit acceptance of the new terms. The member alone is responsible for reviewing this page periodically.

Seventh: Payment Policy and No-Refund Policy

The member acknowledges that all payments made within the Platform (whether for requesting a book evaluation, subscriptions, or any other services) are final and non-refundable once the payment process has been successfully completed by the member.

Once the user clicks the “Pay” or “Confirm Order” button, this constitutes final approval of the service, and the member is not entitled to request a refund for any reason whatsoever, including dissatisfaction with the evaluation result, change of mind, or personal error in selecting the service.

In the event of a technical malfunction during the payment process, the administration may review the issue solely to fix the technical error, and this does not create any right to a monetary refund.

Eighth: Intellectual Property Rights and Disclaimer

Publisher Responsibility — As a “writer” or “publisher,” you acknowledge that you are solely and exclusively responsible for protecting the intellectual property rights of your literary works. The Platform is merely a “display and evaluation space” and is not an authority for legal registration or protection of literary works.

Platform Disclaimer — Book Layers, its administration, and its developers bear no legal or moral responsibility if your work is stolen, copied, quoted, or unlawfully published by third parties (visitors or other members).

Public Publishing — Since the Platform allows books to be displayed to visitors and evaluators, you fully understand the risks associated with online publishing. Therefore, you are strongly advised to register your work with official intellectual property registration authorities in your country before uploading it to the Platform.

Uploaded Content — By uploading any content, you guarantee that you are the rightful owner of such content and bear full legal responsibility if it is proven that the content is copied or infringes upon the rights of others. The Platform reserves the right to immediately remove the content and pursue legal action against the responsible party if the Platform’s reputation is harmed.

Ninth: Independence of Evaluation Services

The evaluation service represents the “professional opinion of an independent evaluator” and is not an official publishing certification.

The Platform acts only as a technical intermediary between the writer and the evaluator, and the Platform does not guarantee the writer’s satisfaction with the evaluation content, provided that the evaluator complies with the Platform’s professional standards.
